The 69th Annual Obon Festival brought out family and friends to the Fresno Betsuin Buddhist Temple Dharma Center on July 12th. They enjoyed Taiko drumming, traditional Japanese street dancing, delicious food and carnival-style games. The event honors Japanese ancestry, pays respect to the dead and honors past generations. The event is free to attend and the public is invited to take part.
