Former Edison Mayor Jun Choi says speaking up hasn't been easy for generations for Asians.
According to the group Stop AAPI Hate, 44 incidents of anti-Asian discrimination was reported in New Jersey between March 19 and August 5 in 2020. That compares to 37 anti-Asian bias incidents in all of 2019, according to the NJ State Police.
