Frida Kahlo returns to Chicago, this time in a new immersive experience.

The exhibit showcases the work of the influential Mexican-born artist in 360-degrees. We spoke with the great grand-niece of Kahlo, Mara Kahlo, and Mara’s daughter, Mara De Anda. They say, unlike other exhibitions, this experience doesn’t focus on traditional images that often portray the artist as resilient. It instead depicts the Frida her family knew.
