NJ would be the third state to pass law on microstamping technology
On Tuesday, Senate Majority Leader Teresa Ruiz was among those at a demonstration in Newark on a cutting-edge technology that allows bullets and casings to be traced back to the weapon from which they were discharged. State lawmakers and acting Attorney General Matthew Platkin are calling for passage of a bill that would require microstamping technology for new semi-automatic pistols sold in NJ.
