Union says other area hospitals pay much better than Saint Michael’s Medical Center

Nurses and technicians at Saint Michael’s Medical Center in Newark are now in their fourth week on strike. They say they’re not being treated fairly and want to be paid better wages and benefits. Representatives for the hospital maintain their contract offer was fair but say they are willing to continue negotiations.
