CDC considers ending 5-day COVID-19 isolation period

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is considering easing its guidelines for how long people should quarantine after receiving a positive COVID-19 test. Under newly proposed recommendations, people would no longer be advised to isolate for five days before returning to work or school, according to The Washington Post, which broke the story.
